ICEJ staff members Nicole Yoder and Jannie Tolhoek paid a condolence on Friday to the home in Efrat of the Dee family, which was sitting shiva to mourn the loss of their mother and two sisters in last week’s terror shooting in the Jordan Valley.

The father, Rabbi Leo Dee, had already mentioned in his eulogy of his wife this week about all the sympathetic messages he was receiving from Christians over his family’s tragic ordeal, and he was very encouraged by the condolence call from the Christian Embassy. Rabbi Dee also asked if more Christians could join his call to unite with Jews under the Israeli flag, by taking photos with the Israeli flag and posting them on social media with the hashtag #DeesDay
.
So please join us in this special moment to express our solidarity with Israel and with this precious family mourning their lost loved ones.
