Though the war in the Ukraine rages on, it has largely faded from the front pages of our newspapers. This week Christian & Jewish leaders, graciously invited by the Jewish Agency, traveled to Budapest & Western Ukraine to show solidarity with the people there as well as see the ‘behind the scenes’ work for Aliyah. The trip included a visit to a children’s summer camp, participation in an Aliyah preparation seminar, & resilience training for Ukrainian Jewish women whose communities have been under fire. Nicole Yoder, ICEJ’s VP for Aid & Aliyah joined the mission representing the ICEJ.
